The Ingenious mechanism of the Ratchet Pruner – from Burgon and Ball – allows pruning of harder stems than is possible with regular secateurs. It also allows you to prune with significantly less effort than regular secateurs. Using an Anvil action, each cut is made in 3 stages/squeezes as the ‘gear’ locks up a notch with each squeeze.

The Ratchet Pruner cuts stems up to 20mm in diameter.
